Febonic Lead Times

Here at Yewbelle, we have been experiencing some longer than usual lead times on select made-to-order designs. Now that everybody is spending more time at home, our collective focus has sharply shifted to our furnishings – with interior refreshes pushed to the top of our to do lists. As a result, the furniture industry has been experiencing increased demand, placing pressure on our supply chain which has increased our required lead times on some items.

Usually, our longest lead time from crafting to delivery for our made-to-order items is between 17-21 weeks. As we approach our busy Festival season, our order volume from customers will increase even further. The 17-21 week lead time takes us right up to the India New Year celebrations where our wonderful makers take a well deserved four week break. Due to the higher order volume and the four week break, our makers require additional time to produce the backlog of stock, leaving us with an additional 8 week wait time on selected made-to-order items.

As a result, production may take 4-8 weeks for selected made-to-order designs. Rest assured that this is temporary; we are working hard with our talented makers and experienced supply chain team to ensure we return to normal production timelines by March 2021.
